Hanoi, June 27, 2016 – The U.S. Mission in Vietnam is pleased to call for nominations of outstanding candidates to participate in the 2017 Fulbright U.S. – ASEAN Visiting Scholar Initiative
The Fulbright U.S.–ASEAN Visiting Scholar Initiative is open to university faculty, foreign ministry or other government officials, and professional staff of the private sector, think tanks, and other NGOs in the ASEAN Member States to travel to the United States for scholarly and professional research for three to four months on priority issues to the U.S.-ASEAN relationship ASEAN. Nominations will be accepted from all ASEAN Member States.
The Fulbright Program in Vietnam will coordinate to nominate up to 03 candidates from Vietnam. It is anticipated that 10 qualified applicants will be selected, preferably representing each of the 10 ASEAN Member States, by a U.S. – ASEAN selection committee.
