On April 18, Public Affairs Officer Alex Titolo opened a career talk with U.S. alumni on “Working in American Companies in Vietnam – How To Prepare?” at the American Center. The event was a joint program organized by EducationUSA and the United States Alumni Club of Ho Chi Minh City. Four Vietnamese panelists who studied in the United States and now work for American companies shared their own stories and helpful tips to build on how to be successful in the demanding labor market today. More than 200 students and young professionals joined the lively discussion. This activity is a continued effort of the United State Consulate General to reinforce the positive impact of education and information exchanges, and to specifically highlight the role of alumni of the U.S. educational system in helping young Vietnamese become successful.
