Consul General Bitter met with Thua Thien-Hue Party Secretary Nguyen Ngoc Thien today as part of her introductory visit to Thua Thien-Hue province. The Party Secretary thanked the Consul General for U.S. support in the educational and cultural spheres. The Consul General pledged to continue to look for opportunities to promote people to people exchanges between Hue and the United States, and thanked the Secretary for the warm welcome provided on her first official visit to Hue.
