Upcoming Visits
- Da Nang; Nha Trang: Being scheduled
General Information
Consular officers will offer notarial services, deliver federal benefits checks, and U.S. citizens will be able to apply for U.S. passports.
Unfortunately, you cannot apply for your child’s Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) during our outreach visits. You must do this at the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi or the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. Detailed instructions are available here. Also, visa and immigration services will not be provided. Only the services listed above will be available during the visit.
Please review the requirements for notarial and passport services before coming. For notarial services, please click here. For passport services, please click here. Please bring your passport and related documents. For passport services please make a copy of all official documents (passports, birth certificates, and CRBAs).
ATTENTION: Many applicants for passport and notarial services come to our outreach sites without sufficient documents, which delays processing. If you plan to come to one of our outreach sites, please make sure you:
- Passport renewal: Bring a photocopy of ALL official documents (passports, birth certificates, and CRBAs). Passports that have no empty pages must be renewed as we no longer add additional pages.
- Notarial service: Bring the correct affidavit form. If you’d like to complete your affidavit in advance, our forms are available here; otherwise you may also obtain the physical forms when you arrive.
