Admissions Process & Study Abroad Options at Private American Universities

This session will help you feel better prepared to complete the Common Application and learn about the holistic review process Notre Dame and other U.S. universities use for their applicants.

In celebration of Women in STEM and Women’s History Month, Professor Caroline Cao will trace her career trajectory starting as a refugee in Vancouver, Canada, through her ascent to her current position as the Ohio Research Scholar and Professor of Biomedical, Industrial and Human Factors Engineering in Dayton, Ohio, USA. She will discuss the challenges she has experienced as a woman working in the STEM fields, straddling the disciplines of engineering and medicine, and her passion for mentoring and promoting future scientists and engineers.
