SUMMARY
The EducationUSA Advising Center – Public Affairs Section, U.S. Embassy in Hanoi is pleased to announce the 2017 SAT Preparation Course for Vietnamese students (PDF-410KB) with solid plans to study in the U.S. in the near future.
Program Overview:
The objective for this EducationUSA Test Preparation Course is to improve Vietnamese students’ applications to U.S. undergraduate programs by developing the skills and knowledge needed to maximize their SAT Test score. Classes will take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 – 11:00 am over the span of 10 weeks, from July 1 to September 10, 2017 at Yola Education Center at Royal City, 72 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.
All costs, including placement test fee, tuition, textbooks, and computer access will be sponsored by the United States Embassy in Hanoi. A deposit of 2,000,000 VND is required at the beginning of the course, and will be reimbursed upon successful completion of the course. Students must attend at least 80% of class hours in order to receive certificates and be reimbursed the deposit fee.
Selection criteria:
Eligible candidates for this course should:
be a student of grade 10, 11 or 12 or currently taking one gap year;
have good academic records and very good English score;
have a valid score at minimum of 1200 on the new SAT (eligible candidates who have not had an official valid score of SAT can attend the placement test at YOLA Center on June 21st & 22nd – YOLA will contact you directly to arrange this test).

Submit official valid SAT score (if available).
Official valid SAT score report and transcripts should be combined in one PDF file, and submitted online before 11:59pm, Sunday, June 18, 2017. No exceptions will be made regarding the deadline.
