Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching Short-term Program

The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Short-term Program provides an opportunity for Vietnamese host institutions to request a U.S. educator for a one-time visit of two to eight weeks. U.S. educators will support primary and secondary education initiatives in the host country through teacher training, curriculum development, evaluation and assessment of educational policies, goals, and/or curricula with Ministries of Education or other educational institutions. Educators may be teachers, guidance counselors, librarians/media specialists, technology teachers, or other educators currently working in elementary and secondary education, library/media studies, special education, school counseling, and other areas. Teachers should be hosted by a teacher training institution; a national, state, or local education ministry; an educational organization such as a research institution, think tank, or other governmental or non-governmental organizations; or an elementary or secondary school. It is noted that English language projects are excluded in this program.
