What time does the American Center open?
Monday: 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 – 12:00; 13:00 – 19:00.
Closed on weekends, Vietnamese and American holidays.
How do I visit the AC?
You need to bring your valid ID card, passport, or student card to get access to the American Center. Children under 14 must be escorted by adults.

You may also register to become an AC member to get the updated AC monthly events via email. There are also many flyers at the AC help desk.
Do I need to register to participate for events in advance?

What are the services at the AC?
You may read books at the AC or borrow 3 books to read at home. You may also use the computers or DVD players to watch movies and listen to CNN channels via wireless headphones. You may use the photocopy machine to copy materials, attend AC events and programs. All are free of charge. For more information, click here.
Are there any regulations at the AC?
All AC regulations are printed and ready for AC visitors at the help desk. You should read them carefully in order not to violate the rules, which are in place to ensure the AC can continue to provide these services to all members.
Where can I park my vehicle?
If you have a bike or motorbike, you can park it at the parking lot behind the Highland Coffee next to the Rose Garden building, the cost is VND5,000 per time.
What kinds of books are available?
The AC book collection consists of thousands of books of all genres ranging from history, law, politics, arts, economics to soft skills, novels, stories for kids, sports, science, medial, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT and TOEIC books. In addition to these, there are popular magazines and newspapers. You can check the online catalog here.
What kind of books can I borrow or take home for free?
After successfully registering to borrow books, you can borrow almost all of the AC books for 12 days (not including the weekend) and the English studying books for 3 days (not including weekend). You cannot borrow test preparation books, these are for in-house use only. We also have free books that you can take home up to one per day.
Who should I ask if I have some problems at the AC?
Go to the help desk for support if you have any problems, we always have student interns and staff members to support you.
Do you have regular English classes at the AC?
We don’t offer regular English classes, however, we have many activities, conversations, discussions and presentations in English that help everyone improve their English skills, which are: listening, speaking, writing and reading.
