U.S. Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation 2020 Competition Announcement

Hanoi, October 28, 2019 – The U.S. Mission in Vietnam is pleased to announce the launch of the U.S. Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) 2020 Competition. Vietnamese non-commercial entities can submit proposals for: AFCP Small Grants ($10,000 -$199,999) or AFCP Large Grants ($200,000 -$800,000) for preserving cultural heritage in Vietnam.

Proposals will be accepted for the preservation of: 1) cultural sites, including buildings and archaeological sites; 2) cultural objects and collections including archaeological and ethnographic objects, paintings, sculpture, manuscripts, and other objects; 3) forms of traditional cultural expression, including music, languages and dance forms.

Project applicants must complete the application form and send an electronic version of your proposal (in English) along with other required documents to the U.S. Embassy/ U.S. Consulate General Public Affairs Sections via email by November 30, 2019.
