The U.S. Embassy in Hanoi Announces Program for U.S. Study

HANOI, November 21, 2017 – The EducationUSA Advising Center at the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi is pleased to announce the 2018 U.S. Department of State’s EducationUSA Academy at eleven U.S. host colleges and universities. The program is open to participation by self-funded high school students from all over the world including Vietnam. The Academy is a two-to-four-week pre-college academic enrichment program which provides international youth between 15 – 17 years old with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to submit strong applications for future admission to colleges and universities in the United States.

The EducationUSA Academy is an intensive summer program for students who have sufficient knowledge of English but are not native English-speakers and reside outside of the United States. In its third year, the Academy will include the following campuses: Diablo Valley College (CA), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (FL), Johns Hopkins University (MD), Montana State University (MT), Northwestern University (IL), Syracuse University (NY), Temple University (PA), University of Alabama-Huntsville (AL), University of Colorado Boulder (CO), University of Massachusetts Amherst (MA), and University of North Georgia (GA). Potential applicants can apply directly to the institution of their choice.
