On July 21, 2015, one of the United States’ most well-known educators, Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, visited Ho Chi Minh City. At the American Center, she participated in a training workshop for 70 high school English teachers where they discussed innovative methods for engaging students. Sharing her own experiences as an English teacher, Dr. Biden thanked the participants for the critical role they play as teachers in building a stronger, more prosperous Vietnam.
