Secretary Kerry Releases 2014 Trafficking in Persons Report

On Friday, June 20, Secretary of State John F. Kerry unveiled the 2014 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report at a ceremony at the U.S. Department of State. As required by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), the TIP Report assesses governments around the world on their efforts to combat modern slavery. The 14th installment, this year’s Report includes narratives of 188 countries and territories.

At the rollout event, Secretary Kerry also honored the 2014 TIP Report Heroes, men and women whose tireless efforts have made a lasting impact the global fight against modern slavery.
