Event: Over the past several days, there have been occasional, small, peaceful demonstrations in the vicinity of the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi. We anticipate that as COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease, there may be periodic peaceful demonstrations, and we remind all U.S. citizens that they are subject to all local laws while traveling or residing in Vietnam.

- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Exercise caution around large gatherings.
- Carry proper identification, including a U.S. passport with a current Vietnam visa.
