Important Notices – IV

* Beginning April 12, 2022, the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will TURN AWAY immigrant visa (IV) applicants who have not brought ALL the required documents to their interview and have not uploaded ALL the required documents to CEAC.  For further information, see here.

* Immigrant visa services are operating as normal.  However, please note that applicants may continue to encounter significant scheduling delays.  Fiancé(e) and immigrant visa applicants who have questions about their specific case may contact the Immigrant Visa (IV) Unit here.

* Starting at 12:01 a.m. EDT on June 12, 2022, the CDC will no longer order air passengers to show a negative COVID-19 test result, or show documentation of recovery from COVID-19, prior to boarding a flight to the United States. Of note, CDC’s Order requiring proof of vaccination for non-U.S. citizen nonimmigrants to travel to the United States is still in effect. * Please do not enter the U.S. Embassy or the U.S. Consulate General if you are feeling ill or have reason to believe you have been exposed to COVID-19. You may reschedule your appointment.  All applicants/customers are encouraged to maintain proper physical distancing and to wash their hands to prevent transmission of COVID-19.
