LUNAR NEW YEAR “TET” 2018 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
The Consulate General’s Immigrant Visa Unit will be closed from Wednesday, February 14 through Tuesday, February 20, 2018 for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays. IV applicants who have been asked to submit additional documents should not plan on returning to the Consulate to submit documents during this time. In addition, the IV Unit will not be open for document submission on the afternoon of Tuesday February 13. The Immigrant Visa Unit will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, February 21.
The Immigrant Visa Unit will continue conducting visa interviews until February 13, 2018. However, please expect a delay in the delivery of your visa due to the Tet closure. If you have an urgent need to travel, please notify our office at the time of your interview.
