List of COVID-19 Testing Locations in Vietnam

* Effective December 6, 2021, all travelers to the United States, including U.S. citizens, Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs), and nonimmigrants, regardless of vaccination status, must present airlines with a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than one (1) calendar day before their flight or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days.  Children from age 2 to age 17 are also subject to this testing requirement.  All nonimmigrant, noncitizen air travelers to the United States are required to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding an airplane to the United States.  To best determine your individual travel requirements, check out CDC’s Travel Assessment Tool.  Additional information about these policies is available on CDC’s website and the Department of State’s website.   Exceptions will be considered on an extremely limited basis.  Please contact the American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit here to apply for an exception.  Please visit the CDC webpages for more information about exceptions and the requirement for proof of negative COVID-19 test or recovery from COVID-19 for all air passengers arriving in the United States.

* Currently, the Vietnamese government does not require COVID-19 testing for domestic travel.  U.S. citizens with questions about testing requirements while residing in Vietnam should contact their hotels, landlords, employers, or transportation providers for the most up-to-date instructions.  The U.S. Mission in Vietnam cannot intervene in these regulations in any way.
