Following-up on Secrectary of State John Kerry’s visit to the Mekong Delta, U.S. Consulate General Economic Officer Sean Thompson and Education Advisor Nguyen Tran traveled to Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces on January 15 -17. The pair met with government officials, environmental experts, farmers to learn about current economic and environmental initiatives in the Mekong Delta.
Mr. Thompson and Ms. Tran also introduced educational opportunities including scholarships, student visas and EducationUSA supporting services to over 500 students and lecturers at Bac Lieu University and Ca Mau Community College.
