As soon as you have your interview appointment date, you must visit one of the Consulate’s designated panel physicians for your medical examination and vaccinations.
Please follow the two steps below:
1. Medical Examination
Visit the Panel Physician before going to the Quarantine Service for vaccination. The Panel Physician will inform you when your medical examination results are complete or available. It may take three to ten days to receive your medical examination results. In some cases, it may take longer and the Panel Physician may send your medical examination results directly to the Consulate.
You must bring your Appointment Letter – PKT4 (for K cases: Bring Appointment Confirmation Sheet and Instruction Package Letter – PKT3 which includes the case number), passport, fee for your medical examination processing, and a copy of your vaccination records, if one is available. See our fees page for costs associated with your medical exam. Cho Ray hospital accepts fees in Vietnam Dong only. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) accepts fees in Vietnam Dong or US dollars.

Please note that the examining physician will discuss the medical results with you and any follow-up treatment required. You must perform any follow up your treatment at the Panel Physician’s office.

After completing the medical examination, applicants are required to receive vaccinations. Fees for vaccinations depend on your age and the required vaccinations. Bring all of your vaccination records with you to one of the below addresses to receive your vaccinations:
