On March 31, Cultural Affairs Officer Anna Dupont moderated a discussion on the successes and challenges for women in the global workforce today at the American Center. The event ‘Women in Academia, Government, and the Private Sector: Reflections from Vietnam and the United States’ featured U.S. professor and Fulbright Scholar Dr. Heather Stur, Vietnamese education administrator and expert Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, Director & CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Vietnam Hoang Thi Mai Huong, and Consul General Rena Bitter. More than 70 lecturers, business professionals and young students joined the discussion and offered their views on the past and future role of women in these three fields.
